# SCIM API error responses

<View title="Developer" />

<View title="Federal docs" />

<View title="EU docs" />

This topic explains the error responses that the LaunchDarkly System for Cross-domain Identity Management (SCIM) API returns.

All errors follow the SCIM error format:

```json lines wrap theme={null}
{
  "schemas": ["urn:ietf:params:scim:api:messages:2.0:Error"],
  "detail": "Error message here",
  "status": 400
}
```
