The topics in this category explain how to configure third-party applications to send logs, metrics, or traces to LaunchDarkly observability features. After you configure a third-party application, ingested data appears in [traces](/docs/home/observability/traces), [logs](/docs/home/observability/logs), and observability dashboards in the LaunchDarkly user interface. You can use this feature to correlate observability data collected from third-party applications with data collected from LaunchDarkly SDKs and observability plug-ins.

If you want to send errors from a third-party tool to LaunchDarkly as metric events for use in guarded rollouts and experiments, read [Sending error events from observability tools](/docs/integrations/monitoring/error-events) instead.

The available ingestion capabilities are different for each third-party application. We provide configuration instructions for the following applications:
